What are peer reviewed academic journals?

Answer

A journal is a periodical published about a specific subject, usually by an organization, association, or society related to that topic.

Journals contain original research and studies by people who work in that field. They can be called academic journals or scholarly journals. They are different from magazines, which are less detailed, and written for the general public. Journals are available in the library's databases.

Some journals may be peer-reviewed.
