Will I need to create an account with CompTIA before taking a CompTIA certification exam?
Answer
You cannot be scheduled for a CompTIA certification exam until your CompTIA customer account has been created and verified.
If you don’t already have one, you must create your own CompTIA customer account. ECPI University staff cannot create an account for you. New testers MUST create their own customer accounts with CompTIA.
Please be sure to use an active, valid email address when creating your account. Important information about your exam results and certification status will be sent to the address you use to create your testing account.
Account creation & verification:
- Start at the CompTIA Sign In page.
- Log in with your email address and password, or create a new account if you don't yet have one.
- On your account home page, locate the Schedule Your Exam section and click the Schedule Now button.
- Complete or verify all your information on the profile form and click the Save Updates button.
