How do I search for Case Studies in a journal database?

Answer

Journal Databases use limiters to help us apply relevant criteria to our search. Below are examples of how to search for Case Studies when using journal databases from our three main database hosts* in the ECPI Online Library.

[*The database host is in parenthesis immediately following the name of the journal database on the Library A-Z Databases page.]

Jump to:

EBSCOhost:

In CINAHL Ultimate, use the Publication Type menu and select Case Studies. For other EBSCOhost Databases, use Document Type and select Case Studies.

Once you have selected for Case Studies in your preferred journal database, enter your topic keywords into the search box at the top of the screen. You may also want to limit your results to Full Text documents and/or Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals. Finally, click Search. Your results should contain case studies related to your research topic.
